Our Curriculum

Curriculum overview

At Hampton East School, students engage in personalised learning opportunities that are supported through Individual Learning Plans and the 21st century digital designs to create rich learning environments.

Our students are encouraged to explore their world to become independent, resilient and informed learners who contribute to the community.

We are guided by the Victorian Curriculum, which is a common set of knowledge and skills required by students for life-long learning. Our Professional Learning Teams identify the essential learnings and work collaboratively to provide differentiated learning opportunities for all students.

The Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) provides the skills, knowledge and attributes to enable our students to make informed choices about their educational pathway and employment. This provides students with the opportunities for practical work experience including literacy, numeracy and personal skills that are important for life and work.

All students are offered a wide range of extra-curricular activities to explore their interests and promote connectedness to the school and broader community.
