Support Hampton East School

Hampton East School provides quality education for students from Prep to Year 12 with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities.

Our school was formed through the merger of Katandra School (Primary) and Berendale School (Secondary) to create a unified learning community, now known as Hampton East School.

Our Vision and Development

We were fortunate to receive funding from the Victorian School Building Authority for Stage 1 of our development. This enabled us to build:

✅ New Art and Science spaces
✅ A Junior Learning Hub
✅ A Middle Years Learning Hub

The funding did not cover essential outdoor play equipment, such as playground structures, shade sails, footpaths, car parking and new buildings for our Senior students
